Below the images you can read about the artist.
The imagery in my paintings is secondary to the effects and nature of paint and words. My primary interest lies in making an interesting experience for the viewer. Classical one-point and two-point perspective is the grid within which my paintings progress. I use paint and writing to build depth and composition, leading the viewer through a world of the man made. Condemned environments of my own experience are made into compositions focusing on color, contrast and temperature. My main goal is to give the viewer enough information to hold interest. Any painting will contain up to 40 layers of paint, building environments of experience and modern paint exploitation. I can paint trees and figures in space, but I choose to paint space within which narratives and visual effects will be derived.
